I had to double check... If I wanted another news app I would have downloaded it. What I thought I downloaded was a food recipe app. Worst update ever.

Loved the old foodie app, I learned some really good recipes from it. Then I updated to this new version called Mode and realized that it had nothing to do with food. Changing the entire purpose of an app isnt an update. If you wanted to do something new you should have created a new app and left the old foodie app alone.

I can understand buying out an app and adding cross-marketing, but pushing it to the fringes and introducing unavoidable content with a problematic sign-in requirement is messed up.

I would recommend this app to anyone and everyone!

i downloaded it yesterday and it has quickly become my new favorite app. it is thoughtfully made, user friendly, visually appealing and a great source for food, fashion + so much more.

Alright everyone, listen up and listen up... well! If you havent check out Mode, catch some UVs and get out from underneath that rock youve been living under. I recently started using Mode and its by far my new favorite multimedia site. The rumors are true, its the best thing since sliced bread, or maybe more applicable, its the best thing since MySpace. This site is like if Buzzfeed took Pinterest out for a nice first date, things went well, and eventually, after an appropriately long courtship and of course marriage, they had a child. That child is Mode! No but in all seriousness, get this app. It organizes your interests/articles really well and allows you efficiently use your tech time. Check it out yall.

What happened. Foodie is no longer. All that I saved and loved in recipes is gone. What about giving me back what I had downloaded THEN give everyone a heads up before you destroy something great? You were the best cooking app ever. Now just trash!!! Can you go back to the old format? Or let me have what I had downloaded a PLEASE!

Love this app! It has interesting and funny stuff that I didnt even know I wanted to read about.

I prefer the old foodie app as this has too much I dont want. Main thing that has to be fixed is if I want to add a recipe to a folder or story I believe you call it you force me to put why Im adding it. I just want to pick my folder and add it, I dont need to give a reason why. Also should be an easier way to move items from one folder to another should you want to do so.

In having a lot of fun with this new app.

I loved Foodie. I really looked forward to adding new recipes from it. I tried out the new app, but I was disappointed. I downloaded the app to try new recipes, not read articles. I have since deleted it.

Surprised! More than just your everyday table book read. Plethora of different articles to suffice anyones needs!

I just downloaded this app today and literally cant put it down. The stories are so fun, vibrant, and informative. The information is great for everyone because its super user friendly and visually appealing. There is literally something for everyone here!! As a Pinterest fanatic, I can say that Mode is much more informative, and I may be binging on this app with my morning cup(s) of coffee to start off my day on the right foot!

Dont do FaceTime or Twitter and refuse to. What rubbish this new app seems to be...who cares about "inspirational" whatevers. The app was about food and now its all gone and out went this absolutely useless sounding app from the gadget. I should never have updated.

This is disgusting. I Immediately uninstalled, like everyone else is doing. If your plan was to have free real estate on the phones of the Foodie user base, youve failed. Watch your numbers drop. The classy move would have been to create a new app and placed an ad in it notifying us about this new one. We downloaded a recipe curation app, not yet another generic article curation app. By the time you restore Foodie, youll have permanently lost your user base to Yummly and Kitchen Stories. And no amount of fake user reviews will help you keep users. Its just classless.
